Scope of the project:
Build a northern Italian style barn inside a restaurant.

Highlights:
La Ghianda was conceived by Adam and Lucas owners of La Quercia in Vancouver. They wanted to compliment their award winning restaurant with an Northern Italian style Deli. To achieve this feel we used only reclaimed wood, from a decommissioned school in Burnaby. The fir posts and beams hold up a rustic Italian barn over the counters and prep areas. The small seating area is designed and built from the same wood. La Ghianda is gorgeous. They have lineups out the door everyday, and the food is amazing.
